The challenge here is to make a dc to ac set up that is portable, low cost, efficient and attempting to lower the utility cost by dc to ac inverter loads for 7-120/volt grow light wattage loads. The client says there monthly utility bill is over $800 a month and they have no money to do a $20,000.00 or more dc to ac totally off grid system.
By using only off the shelf products from Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Amazon and Ebay
A simple 4 kw 12/volt dc to 120/volt ac 5000 watt inverter setup with with dual 2/10/50 automatic battery chargers and dual 12/volt 50/amp charge controllers with 100/volt 100/amp digital shunt. 10 total 35 AH batteries for a 350 AH battery bank.

By now you are either totally confused or wondering how this is going to work out?
Well here goes
1st dollie is called DC Side
2nd dollie is called AC Side
All DC devices aka (200/amp Square D QO Main Lug Panel 30 space, batteries, battery chargers, charge controllers, shunt, wire/cables, hardware, breaker bus bar leg jumpers ect) are mounted on DC Dollie. Making a portable DC power source that is efficient, low cost, safe and reliable. Using sealed batteries prevents explosive gasses from forming and allowing indoor climate control protection for all devices. Included are grounding protection with #4 bare stranded copper X 100' and 5/8" X 8' ground rod with clamp. All DC devices are grounded as required with this separate grounding system.
All AC devices aka (200/amp Square Homeline Main Lug Panel 30 space, 7 total 120/volt 20/amp outlets with steel boxes & raco covers, 7 total single pole 120/volt 20/amp breakers to control each outlet individually, 4 total single pole 120/volt 20/amp breakers to control voltage input with male ends from ac output sockets from inverter, 4 total male cord ends matched to ac inverter output X 30' each parallel wired for the best amperage transfer possible from the inverter.Included are grounding protection with #4 bare stranded copper X 100' and 5/8" X 8' ground rod with clamp. All AC devices are grounded as required with this separate grounding system.

This simple system can be configured many different ways the mission here was to do it as low cost as possible with off the shelf products, lightweight and portable and still be safe. Upgrading is simple as breaker panels were designed to accommodate room for advancement. By migrating other off the shelf name brand products from quality Vendors Mini Microgrids setups that can be matched to clients wattage requirements in either single or 3 phase ac outputs are possible.
The thinking here is that is is cheaper to run 2-2/10/50 amp auto battery chargers on house power 7/24/365 then it is to run the ac loads at $800.00 as currently operated?
