A large order has been placed for a ton of these batteries for large scale use in the USA. There are other projects in the USA using this same principle of lithium ion battery storage. Duke Energy is another key player.

With these large scale projects in the USA and worldwide can only bring the battery cost down for the average person who want to eliminate their monthly utility bill altogether. It is very easy to do just that with off the shelf products from quality vendors like Victron Energy which manufacture quality products so fast that clock resets are not necessary from different power sources. Being a retired master electrician with over 41 years of experience makes it possible for these large scale projects to be minimized for smaller residential use for anyone anywhere aka mini micro grid. The battery bank is the biggest cost and by having these large companies bringing the cost down helps everyone who wants free electrical power from solar and wind energy.

These large scale projects work on the principle of the higher the voltage the less the amp draw example wattage/voltage=amperage. By increasing the voltage cuts the amperage drain example 120/240 200/amp single phase is only 6.78/amps at 7200 volts meaning that it is very easy for anyone to enter the off grid electrical power market and to cut their utility bills altogether.

Contact D B Electric for your off grid electrical power requirements and read our many great blog post and you will realize just how easy it is to have free power from solar and wind anywhere.
