Portable Temporary Electrical Power

A recent project required many extension cords running from a gas generator during a client's power outage issue with many splitters and cords going here there and every where.

The loads were not much just a few cordless drill chargers and a few LED work lights

Along with cords going to major appliances like freezers and refrigerators and other cords going to power saws, drills and other equipment. I knew that there had to be a more efficient means to route and control the mass of cords and plugs other than trying to drive a dozen splitters off the generator..

Making the maximum amount of use out of a portable cart seemed like the ideal choice to terminate this temporary power issue along with having binned storage for any necessary electrical materials that maybe needed on a project.

Another client had seen the portable cart in use and asked me if it were possible to operate the cart  off grid with battery and AC inverter power?

Knowing full well that Dolley Electrical Power was already used in another application I told them yes and the only requirement was to know the full wattage load that they intended to use.

Temporary electrical power using DC battery banking to AC pure sine wave inverters can be as efficient as using portable hand truck dollies
And attaching the right backing board to hold the batteries and necessary electronics and hardware. along with adding ATS (automatic transfer switch if grid tied to stop any backfeed to grid power. Solar panels, wind turbines and even bicycle generators or gas generators can be used for charging to operate either Materials Cart or Dollie Power for total off grid free electrical power.
